Cell Press  ו- Lancet חברו יחדיו להשקתו של  כתב עת חדש בגישה פתוחה  –  EBioMedicine בהוצאת Elsevier.

כתב העת יפרסם מאמרי מחקר שיכסו את כול תחומי  מדעי החיים והרפואה החל ממחקר בסיסי וכלה בתחומים  הקליני והציבורי של מדעי הבריאות.  מייסדיו מאמינים  שכתב עת זה יהווה נקודת מפגש בין 2 הקהילות – המחקרית והקלינית כדי לאפשר העברה מהירה של תובנות  מחקריות למען שיפור הבריאות   כפי שביטא זו יפה העורך של כתב העת:
